CBR, founded in 1998, has grown from a small company of only six staff members to a current staff of over 200, with branches in five different cities, spanning throughout China.
During our 10-year history we have accumulated a wide portfolio of clients, broadened our experience by conducting research for a variety of industries, and expanded our interview operational network.

CBR currently employs over 200 full-time staff members, of which, more than half have worked at the company for over three years.
Every year, in order to infuse the company with new people and ideas, CBR recruits graduates from top Chinese universities and Chinese graduates who have returned from their studies abroad. In addition, we also have foreign staff members who hail from all corners of the globe including, the U.S., Africa, and Japan.
CBR conducts continual training sessions to keep our staff up-to-date on the latest happenings within the company and also to improve their overall skills. In addition, there is special in-house training for mid-level staff members that teaches them about effective project and team management skills. Many staff members have also participated in domestic and international training sessions and attended academic seminars related to the market research industry.
One of our main specialties is conducting research for the automotive industry. CBR has more than 8 years of automotive industry research experience, with a portfolio of over 20 well-known motor brands that in total account for 70% market share of the automobile industry. These clients include brands from Europe, the U.S., Japan, Korea, and domestic China automakers. Thus, CBR has rich experience in vehicle study, market positioning, product confirmation, new vehicle market launch, and sale and after-sales service. Over half of our clients have maintained a working relationship with us for at least three years.
CBR prides itself on accurate and strict fieldwork standards. As a member of ESOMAR and CMRA, we are able to continuously acquire the latest research technology from around the world.
We have a deep understanding of how to effectively employ various research models including the market segmentation model, TNA model (consumers’ needs), KANO model (product developing), SIMALTO model (product configuration), and PSI model (price sensitiveness). These tools are used to accurately determine client’s market position and help advise them on how to successfully proceed with their business in China.
Fifteen CBR staffs have published over 120 articles in professional marketing research magazines (e.g., Marketing Research).
Wei Feng, as CBR’s Research Director, is one of the most experienced research specialists in China. He has over 16 years of marketing research experience, having moderated over 3,000 qualitative groups.
